概述

This course will introduce:  the fundamental concepts of quantum mechanics  the QM formulations for basic quantum systems such as particle in a box, harmonic oscillator, rigid rotor, and hydrogen atom  the approximation methods for many-body systems The aims of this course are  to develop the fundamental knowledge of quantum mechanics  to understand the trend of semiconductor material properties and the electronic configurations of atoms in periodic table  to know the practical applications of quantum mechanics in microelectronic devices.
