捷運系統(metro system)在都會大眾運輸當中提供安全、快捷、且高效率之運輸服務。不同於傳統鐵路運輸系統,捷運系統具有站距短、班次密集、列車加減速快、營運時間長等特性,這些特性讓捷運系統之營運、維護保養、與管理有著獨特的挑戰與技術需求。本課程將介紹捷運系統之營運與管理,並著重在其於實務上之應用。本課程建立於基礎軌道運輸知識之上,介紹捷運系統之系統架構以及各子系統(設施、車輛、號誌、行車控制、車站等)之功能、關聯、與特色。本課程將進一步與國內捷運公司合作,重點介紹列車特性、基礎營運規劃、行車控制、與維修保養,並且將透過現地參訪方式,讓學生對於捷運系統實務有更深入之認識。本課程連結捷運系統之知識與國內捷運系統實務,旨在讓學生更進一步學習國內捷運系統營運之具體狀況,讓學生能夠具備銜接軌道運輸系統與管理理論與實務營運之能力,培養捷運運輸產業之知能與技術基礎。 Metro systems provide safe, fast, and efficient transportation services in urban public transport. Unlike traditional railway systems, metro systems are characterized by short station spacing, frequent service, rapid train acceleration and deceleration, and long operating hours. These characteristics present unique challenges and technical requirements for the operation, maintenance, and management of metro systems. This course will introduce the operation and management of metro systems, focusing on their practical applications. Building upon basic railway transportation knowledge, this course introduces the metro systems framework and the functions, relationships, and characteristics of subsystems (facilities, rolling stock, signaling, train control, stations, etc.). Collaborating with domestic metro companies, this course will further introduce metro train characteristics, basic operational planning, train control, and maintenance, and will include site visits to provide students with a deeper understanding of metro system practices. This course connects knowledge of the metro system with the practical aspects of the domestic metro system, aiming to enable students to further learn about the specific operation of the domestic metro system, and to equip them with the ability to connect the management theory and practical operation of rail transit systems, thereby cultivating their knowledge and technical foundation in the metro transportation industry.

本課程將透過簡報投影片講課方式為主,輔以黑/白板、線上影片輔助教學。本課程將會安排課堂討論、問答、以及課後利用學校課程網站線上討論區系統等方式,讓同學們能夠加強課堂參與以及課後複習,提升學習效果。此外,本課程搭配講義內容,將邀請校外實務專家演講,加深同學們對捷運系統之認識與實務運作。本課程預計將會有至少一位助教協助課程相關之事宜。課程將使用校內E3課程系統輔助教學與課後討論。授課教師將與新北捷運公司等校外單位協調,提供學生校外參訪機會。 This course will primarily utilize presentation slides, supplemented by blackboards/whiteboards and online videos. Class discussions, Q&A sessions, and online discussion forums on the university's website will be arranged to enhance student participation and review, improving learning outcomes. Furthermore, in conjunction with the course materials, external experts will be invited to give lectures, deepening students' understanding of the metro system and its practical operation. At least one teaching assistant is expected to assist with course-related matters. The course will utilize the university's E3 course system to support teaching and post-class discussions. The instructor will coordinate with external organizations such as the New Taipei Metro Corporation to provide students with opportunities for off-campus visits.
評量方式 (grading): 作業 (homework assignment) 40% 本課程預計有3-5份作業,將採線上繳交方式進行之。 期末考 (final exam) 30% 本課程預計有一次期末考,將採現場考試方式進行之。 課堂參與 (class participation) 30% 鼓勵學生上課提問與討論,並提供線上討論區(E3)作為課外學生提問以及討論平台。
