概述

This course prepares graduate students to communicate complex research, lead high-stakes academic discussions, and present confidently in international professional and academic settings. Rather than focusing on basic vocabulary, this course highlights advanced rhetorical frameworks, structural coherence, visual engineering, and interactive discussion management to communicate empirical data and clinical outcomes in international professional settings. By the end of this 16-week curriculum, students will be able to explain raw or processed data, explain research findings, defend research methodologies, present clinical case studies, engineer visual designs, use clear signposting language, master oral scripting, design appropriate data visualizations, execute strategic defense, engage with audiences, among others.
