The fundamentals of discrete-time (digital) signal processing will be introduced in this course. Students will learn how to represent discrete-time signals and systems and analyze them using mathematical tools including discrete-time Fourier transform, z-transform, and discrete Fourier transform. Practical aspects such as structures or implementations for discrete-time systems, filter design methods, and fast Fourier transform will be also covered.
