This course explores the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on how organizations design and implement strategies that address sustainability challenges while creating new business opportunities. Students will examine key theories and frameworks related to sustainable innovation, entrepreneurial strategy, and value creation. The course also emphasizes research perspectives and research methods in the study of sustainability and innovation. Through academic literature discussions, case analyses, and research-based projects, students will develop the ability to critically analyze sustainability-driven innovation and design research projects in this field. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: • Understand the role of sustainability in innovation and entrepreneurial strategy. • Analyze sustainable innovation using major theoretical frameworks in technology and innovation management research. • Review and evaluate academic research related to sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship. • Understand common research methods used in sustainability and innovation studies. • Develop research ideas related to sustainable innovation and entrepreneurial strategy.
Completion of at least two graduate-level courses offered by the Institute of Technology Management or permission of the instructor.

1. Homework and Assignments: reading reflections, case analyses, presentations, and a literature review related to sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship. 2. Exams and Quizzes: No formal exams. Short quizzes or in-class activities may be used to reinforce key concepts. 3. Evaluation and Grading Policy: Class participation (25%), Assignments (20%), Final project and presentation (50%).
